YEUNG drowns his sorrow by drinking and CHE thus tells him about HONG replacing-the letter. Thinking that it is dangerous for YEUNG to see PAO, CHE discusses with CHING and YUNG on how to rescue PAO. Searching around the prince's house, CHE runs into HONG who has deploy the guards in anticipation of attack. Taken in by HONG's honeyed words, CHE drinks with HONG and gets drunk. After waiting for CHE for a long time, CHING and YUNG attack the guards while YEUNG looks for PAO. YEUNG and PAO weep on meeting each other. While they are talking about bringing HONG with them, HONG suddenly appears.
